Anybody have any stories about getting in trouble for their knives?

Not a crazy story, but a funny one. I was driving home from work and was stopped by a deputy. I asked him what the pc was, he said they were looking for a car close to my description and it was investigative purposes; I was fine with that  I knew some local, county and state guys fro my college internship, so I started bullshitting with him. This was 6 years ago when I wasn't that much into knives yet; I showed him my 3" gerber AR BBS and pepper spray :) He was like wow that's a nice knife man...how much was it? I told him $40 from walmart and he was like that's too much for me. Also asked if I had ever used my oc before, I told him ya...he was like really? I said only to test fire it :p lol

I don't think anyone here will willingly admit their misfortunes on a public forum. :foot:

That, and/or and generally (just playing the odds) people who behave themselves and don't act like morons never get the cop's attention in the first place.

I had a friend in Texas who got in trouble for havin a Bowie knife in his car. Lol. Not sure exactly what happened. I think he got arrested tho.
