Anybody have more information on the Schempp Chopper?

Pictures anybody? What steel? When?? I can't wait to purchase one...my credit card is trembling in anticipation.:D
 
Last I heard Ed just picked a steel so it'll be a while. I'll see it I can find a link to a pic
 
The steel has been ordered, the 7 inch camp blade is cut and heat treated. When it gets to the grinder I will work with him on the grind. The large chopper wiil follow, still some problems to be solved on the handle design. 3V will be the steel used in both knives...Take Care...ED

Mr. Schempp, Thank you for responding personally. It's always good to get news directly from the source. Interestingly enough, I didn't know that there were two knives in the pipeline (guess I need to research better) my credit card was trembling in anticipation, now, it's quivering in fear. 3V...I was really hoping for that. Are there any pictures that can be shared? I know I am going to need to have at least one each on these new knives.
