Anybody heard anything from Codger lately?

I heard from him last week. He will be back. Wants you all to know he's still kick-in.

Yep, I'm still around. And I am still writing about Schrades. I just can't post any of it from the public library and don't have the internet at the new house yet. I'll be back sooner or later. Hopefully sooner. I miss the banter and all of the knife talk here. I've noticed a couple of site changes since I have been away too, mostly inconsequential ones though.

My email address has changed since I left. I cannot give out the new one yet until I get my own secure ISP. My others have been hacked and used for nefarious deeds.

I also miss my Safe-T-Grips in the kitchen! Last night I had to use some Chinese POS belonging to my daughter's fiance to slice veggies and meat for fajitas. I almost went to my room and broke out my NIB Safe-T-Grip keepers, I was so miffed at the borrowed knives. Almost, I said. I'll need to find some used, or at least unboxed knives of those patterns to replace the missing kitchen knives left behind when the sheets split. Consolation? She'll cut her arm off or put her eye out they are so sharp!

Keep up the Schrade posting guys! I can read more than I post. Cybernanny here doesn't like sites with certain words in the title or text. Nife is one. I keep getting booted.

"She-who-must-be-belayed" (if anyone besides me still knows what a belaying pin is) calls me "non-resident lizard" now. I can only wish I had the testosterone in my old body to dally with any one on the many females I have been accused of dallying with. Alas, the life of a eunich is not an easy life.

So... about those spare used Safe-T-Grip knives.... :D
