They look amazing. I figured I'd ask here since they have spyderholes and look like they would appeal to Spyderco fans. If I could afford a custom knife, I would definitely be looking at his.

There's been talk of a collab between the two. There's been a proto made IIRC, but no word on if it will hit production.

This is the "Mofo" I want.

Anso licenses the Spyder hole from Spyderco. I believe a collaboration model "Rocklobster" is in the works, but the ergonomics need some work. Should be rather popular when it comes out.

I own the first knife he ever made with his "trademark" 3-d grooved handles. Awesome necker, has both primitive and techno qualities. Sits in a nice lizard covered kydex sheath.

Yeah I was wondering if he had to license the Spyderhole or if that didn't matter since he lives in Denmark. That would definitely be one collaboration I would buy.

He's got some nice knives. I like his fixed blades, but don't care much for his folders.

I'm not a liner/frame lock fan, but my opinion doesn't detract from his awesome designs though.

I own an Anso Rebel folder and really like it. Very nice fit and finish, good ergos, perfect size for edc. I got a Mini Rocklobster on order, too.

Jens definitely has an original look, and makes some seriously cool stuff.

If you like folders with the Spyder - hole, you might want to take a look at Kevin Wilkins: http://www.wilkins-knives.com/ . I have a Leafstorm on order, and am sorely tempted by some of his other models, too.

I happen to LOVE Jens Anso's work!! I so want Rocklobster, and a small Rocklobster, with orange G-10 and bolstered. Kevin Wilkins also has lisenced the Spyder hole.

I just looked at the site, and I have dtermined that he is the smartest knifemaker of all time. He puts the clips on framelocks where they ought to be, not on the freaking lockbar.

I do have Wilkins folder, an older mouse with a 2" blade with a liner lock(thick liner lock)and micarta handles. I love it. Got it locally for a good price. His knives are awesome but expensive. His prices are in Euro dollars. I like his mini Ryback but$600.00, wow!

It's interesting that he was a professional designer for years before getting into knifemaking. Maybe that gave him a different view on things - fewer preconcieved notions.

Kevin is also one of the very few who designs his folders to have a non -adjustable pivot screw. It's the same effect you see in the Reeve folders, but, whereas CRK uses a bushing to accomplish this, Kevin uses a bearing. They are great designs.

Indeed, Kevin builds great folders. I had this one made a few years ago.

No other knife in my collection feels this sturdy and precise, except maybe the Sebenza. And just like the Sebenza it can be taken apart and put back together with no adjusting or loctite required (although I think Kevin advises against customers disassembling knives - there are far more parts to mix up than on a Sebenza - but some people like me just don't listen :)).

Kevin's knives may not be cheap, but I think the prices on his website include the German VAT, so you can deduct 16% depending on where you live.
