Anybody in N-E PA. doing kydex sheaths???

Looking for anybody around northeast PA for some kydex sheath work....i know there may not be much around where i live; it's for a custom knife that needs a horizontal rig-up for carry....small knife, Barry Jones tanto. I want to at least try to find somebody close to me so i can drive it there and then pick it back up rather than waiting for Mr. Mailman...I'm in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, willing to drive to drop the knife off.

Let's see for Kydex,the only one I'm aware of would be Kurt Meerdink whom apprenticed under Bud Nealy has his shop in N.Y. near the N east border of P.A. I have misplaced the contact info,but if you do a search in the knife review section for Kurt or search for posts that I've wrote,I believe I left contact info within the post about my visit to his shop.hopefully this will help or maybe someone else may have a suggestion.

Not sure if he does kydex work for knives other than his own, though.

I might also recommend Mike Sastre. He is in Ohio, so you might not want to drive there. He does fantastic concealex sheath work though, and his turn around time is really fast in my experience. His e-mail is VideoSAS@aol.com.

PS: I know what you mean about there not being much around. I am originally from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area myself.

Hmmm. I'm in York, PA..I have done some custom sheaths, but don't have all of my materials and stuff with me at college. They wouldn't like it if I bolted a vise to the kitchen table
