Anybody know anything about this knife marked Harper?

I am making a trade on this knife and am trying to find out info on who made it, etc.
Marked
"HARPER
PHX. AZ"
on one side. "1" and "8" hand stamped on the other side between the choil and the edge.
It has 2.75" blade, 7" OAL.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Research shows a company named Harper in Phoenix that sells knife supplies, but I can't determine if they are associated or not. Can't find another for sale. Kinda lost.:confused:

At the time he was a full time maker. However, no further listings would suggest otherwise.

Unknown maker, worn knife. It's a nice acquisition, but there's no pot o' gold here. :)

Coop, you da man. Not looking for a pot o'gold. I'm not into safe queens. As a matter of fact, I'm happier knowing that it's not a treasure so I don't have a knife I can't bring myself to use.
