If you don't, you might want to. At least after seeing the knives he had on his table at the Tulsa gun/knife show. He had a couple of big, honkin camp knives, he had folders, and one simple utility knife(the only one I could afford). So, here's a couple of crappy shots of my new Bradley utility knife. Small knife, maybe a little over 7" overall. BG42 blade steel, flawlessly ground to a super thin, razor sharp edge. Handrubbed to a super nice finish.

No tapered tang, or anything fancy. Just a piece of steel, a couple of natural canvas micarta slabs and 4 teeny brass pins. But, the fit and finish on this knife look like the man learned from Russ Andrews or somebody similar. It even came with a nice leather belt sheath. This is the kind of knife you put on your belt, stick the tip of the sheath in your back pocket and forget about it until you need it.

Gayle has a couple of nice folders pictured in 'Knives 2006', but I had not heard of him. Looks like he is from Texas. Also, looks like he makes some nice knives.
The next question is, how many knife shows does Danbo NOT go to?? ;)

Danbo would go to ALL knife shows, if he could afford it. But, I do my best to go to every knife show within reasonable driving distance. ;) :)

Gayle is a really nice guy. I have spoken to him several times at shows and his main concern seems to be to build quality knives. From my understanding he learned knives from maker Tom Overneyder. His fit and finish are very high for the knives I have seen. I haven't seen too many of his fixed blades, but the folders are smooth.

Tom makes fantastic knives and it looks like it rubbed off on Gayle too!:D
