So looking over a big box of knives I have next to my gun cabinet and picked up this old school rendition of a bowie knife made I think either in the 70's or early 80's with a capital J over capital V V. Knife #253 with a gorgeous Don Baker made sheath with the number matching the knife. 01 steel, razor sharp of course brass guard and butt and stamina wood handle. Pic below. If anybody knows who made it let me know. I think Don Baker made knives albeit a very small number but I heard he did a good bit of business with the Para rescue folks way back when at Pope AFB. I know his sheaths are highly sought after. Anyways if any info let me know. thanks and stay safe
