Alright, i need information on a light single blade folding knife. The cost should be no more than 25 dollars? I'm not into synthetic handels, but maybe wood or bone. Also it doesnt have to lock in place; just a folder is fine. I figure the blade somewhere between 3.5 and 4.5? Also, what is the deal with Case, are they only for collectors or are they good for work too?
Anyway you guys will know. Thanks

Check out the Buck Knight (model 505) which generally goes for $30 or so, or the Buck Gent (model 525) generally goes for about $16.

I concur with the Buck gents knife and have sold several to folks looking for a "gentelmans knife". they are very flat, stainless steel, and hold a good edge.
Also SOG carries a simular gentelmans knife, also in stainless.

Gentlemen's knives are usually less than 3" blade length. If you want a natural handle material you could try a Browning Presentation Lockback. The model 305 with AUS-8 alloy blade and cocobolo grips can be had for $27.19 at www.cumberlandknives.com.

Of whom are you inquiring? As I know only a few Gentlemen and they have Very nice pocket knives, well above the price range you are looking at....William Henry's, Chris Reeve Umfaan's and the like......

But if you are inquiring in general to Gentlemens pocket knives around the $25 price range, you couldn't do much better with the Buck Prince is also a good choice, wood and double bolstered, nice knife, have one as well!

I just decided to look up the knives mentioned at the best reference site on the net www.knifecenter.com [note to self: buy something from Howard soon] and found a very pretty Camillus lockback with imitation tortoise shell scales and polished brass bolsters for $29.95 that looks very suitable to the request for a gentleman's knife in this price range.
