Hi, Im new here. Great site! I love steel blades of all types.

Im looking for what Im calling a "jungle skinner." Im going off memory, but I believe these were sold in Smokey Mountain Knife Works catalogs in the late 90's. They may have been produced by United Cutlery. They have a skeleton handle with wrench notches in it, a guthook skinner blade and the back end of the handle has a can operner/bottle opener/screwdriver or some such? One piece fixed blade, all stainless, skeleton handle. The guthook skinner blade was about 2.5 inches long and medium wide. At least I think it had a guthook.

Anybody know where I can find these? Anybody remember them or heard of them?

Id really like to get a couple.

Again, great site. Ill be sharing more on the forums. :)

Originally part of the "survival kit" from Aitor's JK1 and JK2.

The Skinner 1 and 2 were small game knives which were eventually made available as individual "knife" items with its own green nylon sheath.
But buyers beware of chinese copies which look very similar which come in a different sheath pattern.
From what I understand, Spanish Aitor products might be a thing of the past as the company is/was facing some financial difficulty.

The Aitor SK's are slightly outdated dude.
Try lookin' out for the bead blasted SMERSH brand OSA Commando

Which has a see-saw(pivoted) lockable fixed blade construction.
It's divided into 2 separate function tools.
One being a main blade with with a partly serrated edge.
The other multifunction tool blade with cutouts which function as "a wood-saw, hack-saw, screw-driver, cutting pliers, a wrench, a can opener, bottle-opener and a naildrawer."
Blade material is 50Cr14MoVa
Rockwell Hardness is rated 56.8
Total length is 180-190mm
Length of handle 100-110mm
