Hello,

I have just bought a beautiful custom linerlock by AKG Bobby Toole.

The blade and bolsters are raindrop damascus by Mike norris, and the scales are pure white mastodon ivory. The liners are anodised gold, and the fixings, liners and blade back, are all extensively file worked. The quality is stupendous, and therefor Bobby must be very skilled, yet I can find out nothing about him. Does anybody else have any of his work?, or know anything about him?

Thanks in advance...

Bobby has his knives featured by Sandman3 regularly. Both of these guys do a great job. My very FIRST custom was made by Bobby, and it was worth every penny. Bought it on eBay, and as things move on, I sold it on eBay two years later. (It closed even higher the second time around!:))

Bobby was a full-time toolmaker and I thought I heard on Sandman3's listing he is now full-time maker as well. He moved to Alabama or Arkansas from the Detroit area.

Here's a link to the knife I had. His work is top-shelf. The new owner was just as happy with it as you are!!
