I found it in my grandpas house and he said I could keep it. He didn't know anything about it and I have been searching for weeks online about it and have not found a picture or much information on this particular pocket knife. If anybody here can help me out to let me know what it is, how old it is, or the value of it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I can't tell you about the maker but I can tell you about the symbols on it. It is a souvenir knife made with the symbols of Freemasonry, specifically Blue Lodge symbols. The eye represents the All Seeing Eye of the Great Architect Of The Universe. The cube represents the building blocks of Solomon's Temple. The G represents God and its being in a star hearkens back to Solomon, as the "Jewish star" is also known as Solomon's Seal. There are also the familiar square and compasses and trowel of operative masonry that are important symbols of the Blue Lodge. The cloud is a symbol I've forgotten, so if any Brother can illuminate this forgetful Traveller, I'll be obliged.

Swedish Knives, I would speculate your grandfather was a Freemason and he carried this knife as a token of his membership. Keep it in memory of him. I look forward to seeing other posts. Also a closer pic of the blade tangs might give more to go on. Are there any stamps?

P.S., If Freemasonry interests you, remember this, "To be one, Ask!"

Bump for this thread

You have received info & found out yourself quite a bit about this knife.
It is a 4-blade EKA knife (a lobster pattern) with decorative scales.

If you still wish to find out more, you may want to post in the dedicated forum for these type of inquiries:
the ‘Bernard Levine’s Knife Collecting & Identification’ Forum, here on BladeForums.
You may ask the moderators of this Forum to move this thread to the above forum.
With a basic membership you are not allowed to ask about your knife’s monetary value, for that you need to upgrade to a paid membership.
However, you may ask & might receive answer regarding any other aspects of your knife.
