I was looking at the ESEE website and I was wondering what the guys are doing in these two pictures on their website? Can anybody enlighten me?

The first one is a fishing spear (im pretty sure)

First one is a fishing spear, second one im not to sure of but I can tell you they are both from the jungle survival course.
