Anybody know where I can find a Mule #6?

Though I was on the call list, for some reason I didn't get a call on either mule number 6 or 10. I happened to be in the factory outlet store, and saw the number ten so got one, but found out I missed out on the number 6. If anybody has an extra they would be willing to part with, or knows where I can scrounge one, I would greatly appreciate it. 6 is the only one I'm missing... The mule program is an excellent idea, and I have enjoyed working with the different steels in the same configuration.

Price is a bit steep, but Country Knives has it. Otherwise, keeping an eye on the Exchange here, eBay, and other knife forums with sales areas would be your best bet.

I don't believe there are any "call lists" for the Mules. You have to keep checking the relevant forum(s). Possibly the Twitter or Facebook feeds from Spyderco would alert you to new products - I haven't tried those.

I see Mules in the secondary market regularly. I picked up my MT03 in the exchange and my MT05 on a popular auction site, where I believe there is a MT06 currently.

Is that a Great Pyr head I see in your photo?

Country knives are good people but their prices really are steep. I don't mind paying their asking price when i'm actually there because they are incredibly helpful and let you play with everything in the case. I've been meaning to take a drive out there again and see if they still have a few discontinued knives i've been looking at.

That was my thought too, which would explained why I missed 1,3,4, & 5.

Try putting this in the wanted to buy forum would be my suggestion.

If someone here did have an extra they could tell you there.

Edit- nevermind that comment, sorry. I just saw you already had a thread in the wanted to buy forum. Good luck!

The helpful person at the factory outlet store said I was on it, and I did receive calls for the first three.

Yes, That would be "the Bear" the resident 135lb furball at my house. The other little grey dog biting him in my avatar is a now deceased Norwegian Elkhound named Ginger. She was a maniac, and lived her life to the fullest.

The Bear is a good looking pooch. Sorry to hear about Ginger passing. I know I miss all of my dogs that are no longer with me.

I have a 3/4 Pyr & 1/4 Anatolian mix named Shiner that is 130lbs and has a much shorter coat due to the Anatolian influence but is all white and has the double dew claws. He basically looks like a Pyr with a summer hair cut and comes from working stock on my buddy's goat ranch where all his siblings are livestock guardian dogs.
