Anybody Like Friction Folders?

This is my new Ultralight Friction Folder. It`s got a 4" handle and a 3" blade, 1/8" thick, and with a total thickness of 3/8". The handles on this one are 1/8" black G10. My thoughts on this were to combine modern materials with the traditional design of a friction folder.

I do love friction folders. I have svörd peasant and I today received custom friction folder. Very nice design and as fool proof locking mechanism as folder can have.

Hi Sword and Shield -

Stomper is away on vacation this week and has limited access to BF, but the steel on his friction folder is 01, and the grind is a convex grind, although he can do scandi or customizations to your liking. That is his slogan, "Your design or mine".

I've never handled a friction folder. One day I'll have to check one out. Until then I'm just not sure.
