I just bought one of the TR3's, and it is the neatest little knife I have bought in along time. Wonder if they will last? It came real sharp to.

I have the Protech TR-3 Response 3 Auto for many years. 154CM-clip point blade. It is as good as when I got it. Hold a great edge at 60 RC. Enjoy it as it should serve you well.
I have been EDC my Lone Wolf Diablo Auto for awhile now and like it also. The blade is smaller then the Protech but opens much quicker.

I have a SWAT version of the TR3.

It is in my "auto" carry rotation and I have had no issues, though it really hasn't seen much use.

I had 3 and now I'm done to 1. The TR3 is just the perfect fit for my hand. Unfortunately they are not making a satin finish anytime soon, so this year I went with a couple of beadblasted blades and a black blade. I ended up keeping the black bladed one. I think it was worth the xtra $10. Nutnfancy has a great review of the TR3 on Youtube.

i have had a few protechs and still have a godfather, its been a good one, PT CS is good to deal with also, i think they are one of thre best companies for autos, i still like microtech better though on most things.

The Protech Godfather always called to me but I couldn't justify owning a dagger blade due to the limited applications of the blade but I caved and picked up a nice white ivory composite handled Godson last year and I really enjoy it. I have a few Protech traditional autos and folders and I find them to be very nice blades. I have one Blackie Collins designed Protech folder that will never leave the box again after it bit a chunk out of my finger the first time I opened it and wiped it down.
