I'm curious has anybody named a knife? I know people sometimes name guns, but knives I've never heard of it.

No. I have never named one.

I name my knives, well some of them....my ScrapYard 1111 has a inappropriate name...

My TGLB has a name as well. Call that one Ozzy Fudd the Wabbit Slayer.

Not any production folders, but I have named a couple of franken-knives that I did. Violet, and her slightly prettier sister, Marigold...

Only one. Doris, my stag handled Dozier K-4 Straight Hunter.

I can barely remember my own name these days, so I certainly have no inclination to name my knives (besides maker, pattern, maybe handle/blade materials, and sometimes where it came from, e.g., the jigged Delrin SS Case Peanut I won in Cory's GAW or the Rough Rider congress in amber jigged bone).

I call all mine "User". No seriously, just named one. This is Old Yeller.

Just one. A small paring knife I made for my wife. She didn't use it so I modified the handle and called it Aurea after the Game of Thrones character who used a small blade to blind then kill a bad fellow. Stupid I know.

Nope, never had any luck with naming things (cars, trucks, guns, knives, etc.) only pets and people. OH
