Anybody prefer clip points for hunting knives?

Have my fair share of drop points. Lately, I've been using a Buck Vanguard that came in ATS-34.

However, I've never been all that fond of the drop point in one respect. When cutting around the genital/anal cavity of deer, I usually wish for a more narrow, pointed blade. The fatter blade width of a drop point just gets in the way. Knives of Alaska has a good looking clip point, fixed blade in D2 that caught my eye recently. Of course, there are lots of other offerings in clip points.

Who likes clip points for hunters?

Clip points were the style for many years. It seems to me that the drop point has a slightly tougher point which is less likely to chip off than the clip point.
