I've been reading it for some time now, since I've found myself having to go back and refer to things earlier in the book. In theory, his ideas sound good, but I have yet to try them out. I'm a little reluctant to engrave degree marks on my knife blade to tell what time it is as well.

Some of his captions, etc. are outdated, but overall it is an interesting read! He's got a complete series of books on survival skills, etc.
