Hi Guys.
I'm brand new at this. I have a knife that I bought recently, that I would like to identify. I would post pics, but I don't think that I can, unless I upgrade. Anyway, I'll try to describe it, and maybe get lucky. Here goes;
This is a fixed blade, Lovelass style drop point knife. Definitely high quality, tapered tang, dovetailed bolsters, died bone scales, each with five spacers. The knife is numbered, on the bottom edge of the blade, in the bolster area. The maker's mark is Walker (over) Knives (under), with an elipse between. There is a W inside of the elipse. Oh yeah, the steel is VERY hard. To date, I have only been able to find two Walkers that are producing knives, one on the east coast, with a different makers mark, and Michael Walker, designer of most of the folders that we know and love. I've heard that he started out making fixed blades, but I've no idea how he signed them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike
