I know most of you think modding CRK and sebenzas are blasphemy, but I have a large 21 CF Ive been looking for someone to polish the lock bar side like the wood inlays or the presentation side of the cgg on the right. Its smooth but is grippy in its own way. Would that void the warranty? Or would i be able to get it blasted back to factory. Any ideas or has anyone tried this before? Cant help but think it will make it look slick. But it may also make it slippery slick.

I've modified the 4 or 5 that I carry of the 15 or 20 I now have by polishing both sides. I do it all by hand starting with 1000 grit wet-or-dry, move to 1500, 2000, 2500, 3M 30 micron, 15, 9, 3 and 1 micron. It retains enough of the bead blast to easily grip (especially on my WC large and small Starbenza 21's and WC 25) while having the polished look.

Cork wheel for polishing the scale? I think they are used for the blades..but pretty sure this is not used for the scales. They are lapped or sanded on a flat surface with sandpaper. I believe it is shown in one of the CRK vids.

Wow ghostwalker I must say that is an amazing job it looks really nice, professionally done. And you did this with no tools? Just sandpaper? Can you tell us how you did it? I would like to give it a shot

Are these sheets of sand paper I can get at home depot?

I hit the automotive store for the wet-or-dry 1000, 1500, 2000 and 2500. The micron (Zona 37-948 3M Wet/Dry Polishing Paper, 8-1/2-Inch X 11-Inch, Assortment Pack One Each 1, 2, 3, 9, 15, and 30 Micron) I get from Amazon. I use the smooth back side of a glass cutting board and tongue depressors for the rounded areas and center areas. I cut one side of the tongue depressor off squared for the locking bar. And go slow! One knife takes 3 to 4 hours or more.
