I did over the wekend. Amazing, but oddly open to interpretation. Definitely one of the better ones I've seen this year.

It was good. But listening to Tommy Lee Jones on the commentary makes me think he's a bit full of himself. Other than that it was worth the watch.
My favorite scene was when the old blind cowboy is about to ask the police to do what he asked tommy lee to do and pauses. That pause said so much.

I watched it over the weekend as well. Big  . It was such a good movie and weird at parts all at the same time.

I've seen it more than a few times, including once in the theater :D. I think it's easily TLJ's best. I never listened to the commentary and it sounds like I don't want to...but a great movie!

El Guapo was better in The Wild Bunch, Gfarrel ;)

"I am coming, I am coming my friends. You damn gringos."

Whats the premise of this TLJ movie? BTW, speaking of TLJ movies, anybody seen his remake of the Searchers?

That old cowboy was Levon Helm, the drummer from "The Band". It took me a few minutes to get warmed up to the movie but once I did, I really liked it.

Just from what I have heard about the movie means I will never watch it. Tommy Lee and hollywood gave a brief preview of what they think of the Border Patrol in the very beginning of men in black. This just picks up there and runs with it. I think if you thought this was a good movie you need to look at again and what it says about hollywood view of our government, our laws, and who we hire to enforce them. Just case anyone misjudged my tone on this one, Tommy can kiss my ass.

El Guapo was in Romancing the Stone with his mule, Pepe.

Is TLJ trying to take the Oliver Stone approach to filmaking? Borderline, controversial? I haven't seen this yet.

So you haven't seen the movie, and are basing your opinion on a movie about space aliens?

I have had several co workers who have seen the movie, because it was TLJ and most of his other movies have been good. Once they watched it they were like WTF. So why do I need to go watch it to get pissed off. I guess tomorrow I wake up in uniform poke the ol lady go out in the desert, rub out and then shoot a wet. I think I can manage that in 10 hrs. Oh wait let me go sock some woman in the face also, that will really round out my day.

I am using both movies to form my opinion of what TLJ thinks about the BP, not to form an opinion about the movies. I don’t agree with what he wants to say with his movie so I won’t watch it.
