Just realized that I haven't seen several long term posters for a long time. Or maybe it's just me not paying attention. Rio Jim? Dave K? Foxjaw? And Pherrous is still a bit infrequent. And remember Seth Murdoc and those monster AK's of his? Had a 20" then a 25" then even a 30" made. The Kami's must think we crazy Americans are supermen. :D

Life does have a habit of interfering with the HI forum I guess! Didn't do a search so I apologize if these guys have posted a hundred times in the last week, I just woke up and noticed they seemed infrequent.

Who else?
 
I've called and emailed Rio about another matter for a week or so now- no response.

You've forgotten 45/70, who dropped off several weeks ago.

Raghorn is scarce too. So is Josh.

It's summer...a lot of folks have other activities that involve them at different times. I have been in touch with 45-70 recently on another forum, saw Rio Jim, Dave K and Foxjaw at Gin's for the Khonvention, Keith is still behind things and needs to square up.

Don'cha hate folks that actually have a life?

What about John Powell, Broken Arrow, Tom Holt, Wrongfriend, the list goes on.


I haven't seen any of these guys in a while. J.P. being the most recent appearance in May.

I think John's over on that kukri historical forum (IKRHS.com), or whatever it is. He kind of stopped coming by after Uncle Bill passed on. A loss for us...

Absolutely. The amount of knowledge here is nuts. It always surprises me. I just checked and yes he has posted there recently. I hope his health is good. One down.

This kind of stuff happens. People find new jobs, something comes up, new responsibilities, etc and they don't get around to posting for a while.

Or is it that SHE is in training to do volunteer work with them?

Ferrous/Pherrous is a little more than infrequent. He had the gall to send me an email on June 7th again promising my Seax was on the way.
Since then: **crickets**

I don't know if he promised Rio Jim his blade again, too. I guess if Ferrous was in prison, I'd consider that a good excuse.
He's certainly guilty of petty theft and mail fraud at this point.
