I have seen all the posts with guys sending in their 110 or 112's back to Buck for a tune up, or spa treatment, but what about the 300 series slipjoints? Anyone send one of these in? I don't know if the multiple blades make any difference or not. Thanks.

As more of a collector type, I don't refurbish. But, I think you would be served well to give Joe Houser, of Buck Knives, a call or email and ask him what he thinks and the cost. He will let you know what's what and there won't be any confusion.

I sent one in (301) early this year. It was an old one with two springs and the long pull clip blade. The clip blade had been broken and reshaped but otherwise the 301 was in pretty good shape. When I got it back it had a new, long pull blade in it and looked nearly new again.

Sent a 301 to Buck earlier this year...lots of wobble in the main blade (from use by previous owner)...now it looks and works like a new knife, a work of art! Clean and sharp too. Buck did an outstanding job.

And it came back in less than 2 weeks.
