Anybody strip their Izula?

I would love to see some pictures of a satin Izula. Anybody able to fill that order?
 
:D( I Know it not the Izula or Satin but she is stripped) :thumbup:I partial stripped my RC3MIL but I dont like satin(can not sneak up on mall ninja's) so I lightly added some patina to help protect the exposed blade. I left the factory coating under scales to protect the 1095.

Looks good! I enjoy the process of caring for my knives and like to see their condition so I can properly maintain them. That is part of why I like bare metal. I understand the multitude of reasons for coatings but still prefer bare stark naked metal :D
 
A couple of pics of mine. The first one is old (from back when I first got it) but it's better quality than the (second) more recent one. I edc it in my right front pocket. :)

Thanks for the photos. I think when I get my Izula I'm going to strip it and do an apple vineger patina. What did you guys use to strip yours?
 
what's different about the "old izula" and a "new one" ? Just asking cuz i really just want to know the answer. not being hatefull.
 
Yup. All I did was change the wrap. The Izula itself is the same--one picture is old and the other one is new. ;)

I never stripped mine though. It's a limited SHOT Show special from last year. No coating, no laser engraving. :)
