Yeah I've been subscribed for awhile. But I also spend more time on spyderco forums than Bladeforums. Then I come to bladeforums.com and come the the spyderco section. Maybe I have a problem.

It does sound like you have a problem since you didn't seem to mention having the Spyderco app on your phone.

Just subscribed too.

Found the April 2020 article on the Ethnic Series enlightening.

Have purchased most of the knives in the series and didn't know that that they consider the Respect (as a representation of the Bowie) and the Watu (as a companion to the Chokwe) to be part of it.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be buying them because I consider the Respect too large and the Watu too small for inclusion in my collection. Have also passed on various other knives in the series for my own reasons. However, I do have Schempp Bowie and a Chokwe and recently picked up a Nilakka which I have been carrying since I acquired it.

I was also reminded that the small Lum folder (both large and small) and the Friction Folder were part of the series. Have been trying to sell the Friction Folder w/no success for some time. Already sold a large Lum folder and was thinking about selling a black glass version of the small Lum folder but the article has made me reconsider selling the Friction Folder and small Lum folder.

I'm also still thinking about buying a Lum Fixed Blade Tanto (which has been on my buy list for awhile) and am always on the look out for another Lum Tanto Folder variations to go w/the the only one (a DLC partially serrated version) that I have purchased to date.

The problem is finding one of these in acceptable condition for a "reasonable" price. The hunt continues. ;)

I've been subscribed to the Byte since it started. Never downloaded the app, it didn't look useful to me.

I’ve been subscribed for a while. I’ve always found it interesting and like that they post the wholesale price of the knife featured.
