Anybody thought about blunting a part of the blade where a choil could be?

Just an idea. I often think about doing this on my 560, but I would run the risk of slipping. Anybody cut a choil into any of there knives? Pics please!

I've done a few with high speed cutter bits on a dremel. Just takes a steady hand. I'll see what I can post when I'm not on my phone.

Here are some of the knives I've modded:

Nice work! I don't like choils myself. I don't buy knives WITH choils, so i'd never want to put one on. You did great work though, nicely done.

You did some nice work there brets-ftw

I've thought about doing this but modding my knives hasn't always been my thing. I just started thinking about it and trying some things on my really cheap folders. I never had an opinion on choils but my para 2 has gotten me to like them esthetically and functionally. Putting my own on would be something I'd want to do to a delica maybe.

Wow, that's the the best 560 I've seen. the lack of a choil is one of my main reasons for not keeping the 560.

Lately i have been noticing how those choils eats up blade, making the handle seem disproportional, especially on knives like the Military
I wish i had ordered my Tank Buster without choil
If you want to get your hand closer to the blade, maybe you should use a smaller knife
