Anybody use a "steel" on their Emerson?

I sharpened my 2002 Commander last Saturday. After cutting lots of cardboard boxes this week, it got pretty dull. Feeling lazy, I used my Edge Pro ceramic steel on it tonight, with excellent results.

Anybody else use a "steel" on their Emerson?

I've used a cheapo ceramic steel at work and it worked pretty well.

The recurve is harder to do than some other blades but for a quick touch up I was pretty happy.

when sharpening EKI's i use my norton stone untill i get the ridge on the opposite side, and VERY lightly strop the ridge smooth drawing the knife away from me, instead of the cardboard EKI reccomends.
