Anybody use the Mercharness?

i have one and found it uncomfortable, i have seen some cheap paracord versions that look much better
 
I have in the past when I lived in Jersey and couldn't legally carry a fixed blade. I would wear it inbetween my 2 teeshits.

Worked great. And George (Mercop) is a great guy as well.
 
Yes George is a great guy! I am thinking about the 2 tee shirt set up my self. I always wear and undershirt and that would give another option for carrying my HEST. I really think it would be good for EDC and hunting and hiking.
 
I have one--great little rig. Only problem with it is that heavy fixed blades with make the cord dig into your armpit, so go light. :)

i had it set up correctly and i was carrying the crkt triumph neck knife, i found it would just constantly bunch up my shirt, but that probably has more to do with my clothes than it does with your harness
 
I'd agree. Something a little thinner would do fine though, like an Izula.
 
Thanks guys! I either wear a t-shirt style undershirt or a "wife-beater" style under shirt(sorry for the slang but I really don't know the name, maybe A-cut?)

I may just have to get one and try it and then I guess I will just have to get an Izula to try that also!:D
 
I can't stand wearing anything against my skin. I always wear underarmor. Helps that it is smooth soon. I also wear a Kel Tec P3AT on one in a Ivictus Kydex holster all the time too. For those that are having a problem or find it uncomfortable post a pic of how you have it set up. Often people use the two top holes for mounting and this can lead to it being uncomfortable and swing. If adjusted correctly it can also right in front of your armpit (great for driving. - George

:thumbup: agree , Please post a picture . I use a under T-shirt of sorts never directly against the skin...

I have been using a gutted paracord figure eight set-up with an Izula for a while and it worked...but I have just received a couple off George and like 'em a lot. wearing it against my skin under a medium fitting shirt for the week and found it comfortable and secure. set the other up on an RC3 and it also seems fine. I would cook with two shirts somedays! Also ran with a t shirt and it sat well. May depend on body shape?
