Looks interesting, but I'm not so sure about the 12" discs. If you use 9" or less, you can cut down sheet sandpaper at HUGE savings over PSA discs.

It would work, but it's designed for wood and the 12" size disk can get expensive. I got the TG-92 from True Grit, without the motor as I had an extra 1 horse motor. It's non reversable, but it works great for what I do, and the heavy aluminum frame and disk and table don't woble at all. The disk on that 12" machine are almost gaurontied to be flimsy castings. http://www.trugrit.com/knife-tg-92.htm Or if you want you could order a disk from Rob and make your own.

Shop Ebay. I just picked up the Lesson 1.5hp motor that Rob offers for the KMG for $76 in mint condition.
