Anybody want a Bilton?

I got a used Bilton a couple months ago that just sits in a drawer, which is not befitting for a HI product. It has a nice Rosewood? handle, but the blade needs a little tlc. No rust, just alot of sharpening marks and it's dull. I didn't give much for it, so if anybody wants to swap a cheap knife or some 1911 parts or whatever let me know.

Nope, I'll send you my mailing address if you'll send me yours, you like fixed blades or folders?

Sarge, no need to send anything. Fix it up nice and make sure it gets used.

Why am I not surprised at their attitudes?

Biltons are my favorite "Urban-tactical-concealed-carry-ninja approved-fighting khukuri". Actually, they're good little work knives that don't weigh much at all, and don't take up much space on the belt, in a jacket pocket, or a fanny pack. And, for some inexplicable reason unknown to mere mortals like me, the kamis seem to temper them all hard as he&&. Takes some work to get a good edge on them, but the payoff is well worth the effort.

... sounds like a good slogan if you want to sell a Khuk on ebay (you know - it is quite close to the "torture-knife-thing...) :D

Naw Pan, for these kids nowadays to accept it as truly "tactical", I'd have to spray paint it black and coat the handle with some kind of black rubber.:barf: :barf: Then I could tell them it's a "kerambit style CQB knife developed for use by special forces" and the chuckleheads would eat it up like pigs at a feed trough.;)

:) Sarge you could start a second career as a marketingman for stuff you do not like I guess...
sounds good - but I would not buy it - I am not "tactical" enough and just too old fashioned...

You left out that it must be "high-carbon 420 J2 stainless steel". You can't make a good knife without high-carbon 420 J2 stainless steel. :barf: :barf: :barf:

Beo, this needs to get into the description of the Bilton.
