This run of six Roses was one of Bura's last efforts before he went down. Good, faithful, replica of Yvsa's wood model with usual Bura craftsmanship.

Call or email and make me and offer I can't refuse. I need to get rid of these.

Now, that's my idea of a 'Bowie' Love the style and the sheath!First I have seen of this knife.
What did you do, Uncle, have it hidden away somewhere, or am I just blind in one eye and can't see out of the other? :D

Yvsa designed that earlier this year. Do a search for "Cherokee Rose" and you'll get the background on the knife. Unfortunately he didn't make a version for small folks like me.

I know Yvsa's special was pulled off for some problems in mfr.
Don't THINK they are related.
Even with Bura not feeling too good when he was making the Cherokee Rose, I'll take my chances. BEAUTIFUL design in my humble opinion.

Even if I have to use two hands, or hang it on the wall. I have an email in to Uncle.

ICS,
You done good Hoss!!:)There were only 6 made I believe, started to get this myself but didn't want to be greedy!! Wait until you open the box & smell the rich smell of leather!!The knife will blow you away,at first you are a little shocked, that will go away.Put it on the wall & I guarentee you,you will take it down many times ,just to play with it!!Looks like the "poodle",or mutt, missed another!! hee!

I should have put in basic specs -- knife is 20" oal with about 13 inch blade, weights about two pounds. It's not a lightweight.

"Hardy, har, har, har" (to quote Ralph Cramden)

Isn't it time for one of those massive hurricanes to hit south FL?

:D

Haven't checked the FL weather yet today but last look and Eduardo is lurking somewhere off the coast.

Yep, this design is startin to grow on me. I guess I should just be happy I got one of the remaining YCS's a ways back...

Make me an offer. I think the original price was $250 but these are extras and I want to get rid of them.

Yeee-haw!
Now that these beauties came in, I'm gonna have to wait at the mailbox like a lovelorn moose.
Can't Wait!:D ;) ;)
