unfortunately this is as far as i got with this knife. i was prepared to start putting it down on some steel, but as Murphy's law has it, somethings came up and i cannot start this project with the small window of time that i have before shipping off. It is a very simple design & i could start it but it would most likely be incomplete when i leave , and this is not an option for me. I really would like to see it completed before i leave so im asking any of you if you would like to make this knife.
I just want to see what it looks liked completed.
If you would like to take one this simple knife here are the dimensions i was going to build it off of
OA: 10''
BL: 4-4.5"
Blade Steel: 3/16" thick 1095 or 52100
(was going to use a 11''x 4''x 3/16" piece of barstock)
small thumb ramp at top having gimping at 1/16" wide & 1/8" deep
lanyard hole: 3/16"-1/4"
Full Tang constructed, handle having 2-3 rivets (or pins) skeletonized in between each
Scale materials, either: Black G10/Micarta or a dark wood of sorts
