Anybody Work with Buffalo Horn ???

Has anyone ever tried to sand / grind buffalo horn before? I'm wondering if the really fat scales on a buffalo warden could be smoothed down to a more suitable EDC size (for IWB / Concealed carry.)

I'm a little worried about "burning" the horn???

I know some of you LOVE the FATTY's -- don't hang me, I just kind of like them THIN :thumbup:

I've heard several makers complain that grinding it makes the shop stink.

yeah, that's what I'm thinking -- about "burning" it. I could live with the smell (i think) , but I'm afraid to scar it or make it look funny.

Anyone?

Burns very easily, just like impala.
