I love my limit edition satin BR to death. Not because its a LE and not because its satin but because its one of the first(??) swamp rat knife that's full height grind from the edge all the way to the spine. I don't know about you guys but this not only give me more cutting power, but it also make the knife look way better. I know this takes more work but I think the extra $$ is well spend on making knife of this sort.

Same with my Bog Dog, which is very easy to cut things (again thanks to the full height grind).

The new Swamp Rat Tactical line are very nice (gotta love the handle) but its lacking in this department. With that said I'm going to order a few as soon as I gather enough funds...

what do you all think?

If you like the looks then you like the looks, there is on real debate on personal preference. However as far as perforamnce goes, the Swamp Rats with the thin strip of full thickness along the spines don't suffer a significant loss in performance. You really only see such issues with very low sabre grinds which are half or worse yet quarter of the blade height.
