Anyone able to do a comparison on using a SHBM with a BWM LE?

I appreciate not many Hogs will have a SHBM that is a "user" and also have gone for a BWM LE which is also a "user" but I would love to know how they stack up against each other ....if anyone fancies doing a chop off ? .... even if it is just a pic comparison and spec's and how they "feel" in the hand .... that would be great ....:thumbup:
 
I don't know who has both .... I would be guessing .... Lil Foo, OP maybe ? Jaxx ? Not many I suspect ... maybe Liu Kang ? A comparison photo and some weight spec's would be cool ...:cool: A chop off is perhaps asking for a bit much ...:D

I don't have a BWM LE, just a combat grade, so here are a couple of pictures. The BWM is longer in the handle, I aligned up the talon hole on each. Hope this helps a little.

I'll loan you my CG BWM for like a week for a comparison/chop-off once I get it back from NorCalBlacktail in a few weeks... seriously, that would be fun.

Maybe someone else will deliver with an LE.

Thanks, but I do have the CG BWM, and come the spring I will finish my ghetto satin job on it. I don't plan to get the LE, as I have too many choppers already. :rolleyes:

Maybe if someone sends an LE to steelnut I can 'borrow' it for a little chopping comparison. :D
 
Thanks for the photo's Ducci .... they really give an idea on the overall size similarity ... if the BWM CG weighs in at 21 oz .... what does the SHBM come in at ? I'm thinking 24 oz? I think the BWM LE is 23 oz and would expect the SHBM's to be slightly heavier ....although the different positions available on the longer grip of the BWM is also something I was pleased to compare from your photo ....cheers :thumbup:

Looks like I've still got a few hundred wee drams left. We should be good to go.
 
I haven't had them that long, and only compared the
BWM LE to the WASP for how they feel in the hand.
But I need to grab a CG SHBM thats .25" versus the
WASP SHBM which is .283" thick.

My initial though is that I still like the SHBM better, but it may be
the extra weight and the shaped handles on the WASP.

I travel out tomorrow so really wont be able to do much until I get back. :(

But I will test them. :D

Wow... the blade shape is so damn close to a SHBM! I had no idea, maybe a investment is needed here.

But a SHBM is a SHBM....wish they weren't going for so much. I'd have one of them bad boys again.

Hmmmmmm....the BWM is still up huh?
