Have a mint b10 was thinking about moving, but playing with it last night, I began to like the feel of it. I had read a post by Jax (or Jaxx?) about it being an ideal "all purpose" blade for getting by in the wild and dark places. After all, it's not the blade's fault that it isn't a Satin BR, so maybe I should take it out and use it a bit. If I still am not in love, can always get some money back out of it, I guess.

So, and sorry if I have missed any relevant posts, but anybody use the sonofagun?

I have not, but I have found that the used Busse's I have sold (which is the majority of them) have not lost much value. So go use it. :D

CW, the B-10 feels a lot like a Satin Battle Rat...but INFI! Beat her man, beat her good

I have been doing cutting competition exercises with it just to see how it does...Awesome

I've used mine a bunch...........................to make sheaths with :)

I decided today it's my #1 BIG SHTF Knife!!! It will be paired with a 3V custom I have in the works with Coty Handley!!!

I know the pics have been posted before, but any excuse to show off the "Kin" Choppers is taken advantage of....;)

Here's a pic of it's maiden voyage...

I don't have a b10 but if I did I would beat it. I can't imagine not beating my busse's. Its why I bought them in the first place for crying out loud. I'm sticking with a two busse rig and thats it. The CF BWM piggied with a Muk is fabulous for me. The only other knives I buy is for my family members who need them. The only other knives I may buy is a nice fillet knife and an oyster knife. The only way i'll lose the BWM is if I go with a BWMLE. I think i'm done :D

I've had the pleasure of using my B10 a bunch and I love it! It has a nice deep bite, great ergos, relatively light weight, and from what I can tell most of them came with screaming sharp edges...what's not to love?

It batons beautifully, chops like a beast, and even makes a decent feather stick!

I would definitely trust it as my SHTF blade if it came down to it. Actually now that I think about it, it's ALWAYS with me (along with SFNOLE, and lately my Sarge 7) in the back of my car, just in case ;)

Your discipline is the type of discipline I would like to go back to. For a lot of years I just had a couple of knives "that worked". My discovery of Busse and the numerous different "options" has had me buying and testing an awful lot of knives. For what it is worth I think the BWM LE is one of my top slot knives. The ones that you feel "are special" whilst acknowledging that nearly all of them "do so well" ...

The great ones for me are - my Nuclear TTKZ, CG NMFBM, BWM LE , Asm Basic 11 and Basic 9.

So the BWM LE may well be worth a try. I have got and used the BWM a lot and the LE version just feels "better"... but cannot fault the BWM at all. It is just "balance and feel" and a bit of extra performance.

A No Choil B10 makes a lot of sense too, but a Basic without the Asm Edge ... which is such an advantage for "in the field" sharpening ... would leave me feeling I was missing one of the great benefits of the Basic series.

The no choil B10 is a shade lighter than a SBR, 14.3 oz vs. 15.0 oz.

I have not chopped anything but air with the B10, but it feels more neutral in the hand compared to the SBR, which is just a little more blade heavy.
