Anyone around New Orleans La?

Hey Folks,
I have to be in New Orleans for a class for work. It will be March 16th and 17th, a wed and thurs. Class will probably be over about 5pm.

I was just wondering if there are any knife makers in the area that might be willing to put up with me looking over their shoulder for an hour or two. I'll actually be getting into NOL tues evening. If you might consider it, we could probably meet at a coffee shop somewhere first if you would like.

Most folks in NO will not be seing good enough by the 16-17th to opperate power tools and handle hot things. Shame you aren't comming ten days earlier.
 
LOL, yeah I know what you mean. I see enough of the partying people on the train coming into NOL to make up for not being out on bourbon st with them. This time of year on the train can be a bunch of fun. Or a big headache. Some of the things I've seen out there are crazy. Are you coming down for Mardi Gras?
