I saw an ad in July's Blade Magazine for The Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association knife show. It's happening June 22&23 at the Sheraton Hotel in Stamford CT. Anyone been to any of their past shows? I'd like to know what types of knives they usually have. The ad makes it look like primarily antique and high end collectibles.

Sorry Grapevine, I didn't see this until today. I have been going to this show for years, it's the only show of its type in the immediate neighborhood (ie. tri-state area) and now that it's in Stamford, much more convenient! There are lots of different knives available, mostly old factory pocket knives, but also military and contemporary. The sellers are a mix of pro knife sellers, club members looking to make a sale or a trade, retailers like Skyland's Cutlery and a few custom makers. Jim Siska usually shows up.
I have always found lots of stuff to spend money on and always go home poor but happy!
If you're in the area I would definitely stop by!
John.

Happy to hear it's pretty decent. This'll be my first show since getting involved in edged products and some customs.

I've also been going to this show the last few years, and will be going up this Sunday. As John said, it's unique in this area. Lot's of stuff with a wide variety, but not too big. The only show in this area with antiques. Friendly atmosphere. Something for everyone. Hope to see you guys. :)

This is the second year that I will have a table at the show. It is a great show with some well known makers showing up, some have a table and some just walk around. Jim Siska, Joe Sizlaski, Howard Viele, Howard Hitchimough, George Daily, and myself to name a few. It is well worth the trip just for the atmosphere.

Hope to see you there.
Chuck
