I know it changes the surface color some, but has anyone tried this with the G10 that Kershaw or Spyderco uses (or generic G10 from different distributors)?
I've RIT Dyed a few scales with good results - it seems to penetrate the surface enough to resist average wear and scratching, but I've never bleached any myself (I've seen folks who use bleach to paint designs on scales and what not - it seems to lighten the G10 some on the surface).
Anyone have any experience with bleaching G10? I'm looking for the perfect combo of mixture of bleach/water and time that won't damage it (and I know this varies from G10 to G10).
