Camped for two nights and last night just drank tea and watched the blood moon until its peak. Very impressive sight, but I didn't have a camera worth taking photos. Usual coyotes calling, but I slept well so I couldn't tell if they act differently with a blood moon or not.

I wasn't able to camp, but I did go hiking Sunday morning and it was strange because I heard coyotes howling around 1 in the afternoon, which I've never heard before. So maybe it has to do with the moon?

Didn't camp, but I did go night fishing and watched Streamside.

Interesting photo, it was definitely a great sight. Strange with the coyotes in the afternoon. I only rarely hear them with light, and that is generally only an hour or so from sunrise or set.

sideways that is a cool picture

Wife and I were OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooing back and forth with them last week about an hour before dusk. It's fun once in a while, but last year we had some pop up over a hill a little too close for comfort, surprised and spooked us., lol.

If you're a good caller they may come check you out, but I don't think there's a big chance of them giving you much of a problem. Anytime I've seen them, coywolves here, they take off as soon as they see what I am.
