I just purchased a 1/4 satin jack and I would like to figure out a way to carry it for EDC, maybe only in the winter though. I have been thinking of attaching it to my Miami Classic with my Glock, or maybe as a boot knife. Does anyone does this or have anyother ideas?
Thanks,
Jim C

As soon as I get my sheath from Brian (Okuden) it's going on my belt whenever I'm in the woods/swamp. My official 4-wheelin edc. :D

My SJT will be my Outdoor EDC when I get my sheath from Okuden. I might have to carry both when Armoralleather finishes my other sheath. Dwayne is making me a sheath that's a cross between his BadAss and a pinlock, so I can carry horizontal in the small of my back.

i wish i could aford one of the hogsjtac's....

BUT. at the moment (anf for the past year or so) i have carried dualing satin jacks. one of the extremely thin persuasion, and a saber grind .220 le version of the 3rd gen handled sj's.

the thin is actually a NICK mod. but if the ever sold a 1/16" (or less) version fo the satin jack - it would replace the mod i carry.

the .220 is in one of the corudura/kydex insert sheaths with the strap bent completely to the back, and tied down making it high ride. the NICK mod is in a home made kydex sheath that rides fairly high. neither are all that concealed - even with my long shirts. if your around me for any length of time, you'll notice them.

Here is one version I am thinking of

I carry an old style 1/4 inch Satin Jack. I have a couple of sheaths from Buy Brown that either ride high on the belt or IWB. I also carry crossdraw. It sits horizontally on the belt.
Sometimes I'll remove the tek lok and just slip the sheath in my front pocket.
If I happen to go into the field there are times I just carry it in the factory sheath.
If you get some kydex from any of the makers it will afford you several options. That or figure out just exactly how it's most comfy and have one of the leather makers do up a sheath for you.
