Here's one I consider my Chritmas knife.

I've got this super special Umnumzaan that I carry at this time of year.:thumbup:

The top picture is great, I always liked that design. The second one is not quite the quality engraving as the top one, Lisa must of been in a hurry on that one.

That first one is TDF, but I wouldn't turn down that Umnum either. :D

Think I'll make it a point to carry this pretty on Christmas.

Super special indeed... how long does it take to make (paint?) such an ornament? ;)

My Christmas knife used to be my mammoth Mnandi for couple of years (since 2007 I guess) but this year is 10th anniversary of my first ever Sebenza, so I'll carry this one instead. It's without a doubt my most used knife of all time...

I'll be carrying a large sebbie with bloodwood inlays on Xmas day - lots of boxes and clam shells to open.

I've carried this specific small sebenza every year on xmas. It was an EDC but now only comes out to play on special days. It has a story behind it. Long story short I got it as a gift but had to baton through firewood to get a fire going in an emergency.

I will be carrying a large insingo for the paper slicing for my kid's gifts.

BBQ, that's beautiful...I love the Calvary graphic.

Krazichinaman, that sounds like a fascinating story. Any possibility of an elaboration?

As for me, I'll be carrying this one. It's special because it's my EDC...carried it on my wedding day, my honeymoon...the memories that I have built while carrying this knife make it special to me.

Aaand I'll be carrying my new PS. My wife gave it to me for my birthday the first year (this year) we were married. :)

We had a big Christmas Eve shindig earlier at the DFAC, and I had 3 with me. Good thing, because I loaned out 2. :D :D :D

I respect my good knives too much to bring one to the in-law's later this AM for Christmas morning present exchange. A basic Buck 110, with it's healthy long thin edge and hollow ground 420HC lockback blade is appropriate for sawing through boxes and clam/blister packs alike. If destroyed, I have some I bought on Christmas closeout for less than the cost of a CRK clip blank cover. I'll likely have my small plain Sebbie hidden on my person, too... for my presents!

Merry Christmas!
