Anyone carry an Odyssey?

I bought one a few years ago but for some reason it hasn't gotten a lot of pocket time. It's actually been in it's box for the last year. Seems well made and extreemly sharp so it's a mystery to me why I don't carry it more. Anyone use an Odyssey for EDC? fish

I carried one for a while and then passed it on to my son. I liked it, and he loves it. They offer one now in a SS upgrade (can't remember which steel), but only the partly serrated version. If they offered it in plain edge I'd have another.

I had an Odyssey too for every day carry. It was the first knife I bought. My second knife was a Kershaw Avalanche and that replaced the Odyssey. Nowadays I change my EDC regularly and the last few days I've been carrying my Odyssey again. It's still a great knife: ATS34 steel, very sharp and very smooth to open/close.

I've got one, but don't use it very often. It never really grew on me. The handle is tapered wrong for me near the back, always feel like it's gonna slip out of my hand, and the liner lock protrudes too far for my likeing (plus, I don't like liner-locks very well anyway). It does get very sharp, though, and the fit and finish is great! It's a very well built knife. I bought it to see how I would like it, but it just didn't work for me.

I got one for Christmas. The 420HC model. I really like it, light, feels good in the hand, and sharpens really well.

This is my first Buck and I would like to get the AT34 version of this knife.

The ATS 34 version with the old plastic back bone was my first one handed opener.
I you want a really neat version, try the Carbon Fiber version or the G10 handled. Neither are in current production but should be able to be found.
Did you know....? There are over a dozen variations of this knife?

I have an ATS 34 Odessey w/ CF handles if anyone's interested.
I'm trying to thin down the collection, and I will let it go very reasonably. thanks......

I bought one when it first came out, it was my first ATS-34 blade. I also bought 2 more for gifts. I have used it once it awhile and I have like it. With the clip & one hand opening it is handy for yard work, camping and sailing. Very slim and fits my pants well.

Like "fishtale" though I don't wear it as much as I thought I would. Maybe it is a bit too aggressive looking. I tend to use a 700 or 500 series model with a wood grain handle a lot. I think I stand out less using these knives in public.
