Anyone carry there BK9 on the side of there ALICE pack?

Like the title says, I'm thinking picking up a 9, I was curious if the molle straps on the back of the standard sheath are long enough to mount to both sets of alice straps on the side of the Alice pack. Both are popular items around here I'm sure someone is doing it. Thanks.
 
I dont think the BK9 sheath has straps for Molle, mine does not.

It will hook up to your ALICE pack with the ALICE clips.

The newer ones do, the older ones do not. When they switched to the new coatings and laser etching they also added Molle webbing.
 
Thanks evil..... whatever. If you bk9 had molle straps would it be long enough to reach the lower webbing an an Alice pack?
 
I don't let my blades ride outside the pack. That way I don't have to deflect strange looks with my middle finger or answer stupid-assed questions like, "Is that a knife?"

Also, I don't have to worry with unstrapping it to wear it.
 
I wear mine attached to the side of my pack. Works great. I don't need a blade that big riding on my belt (besides, my pistol always take priority). When I need it, I drop my bag, unsheath the blade and go to work. Usually my folder can handle most tasks I need it for when my bag is on my back.
 
For those of you that are curios the molle straps on the back of the bk9 sheath don't run the whole length of the sheath and will not reach both sets of Alice straps on the pack. With some zip ties and cord..... everything fits.
