Hi guys.
If you do, what do you think of it? I'm looking at the smallest, the Titan 9 Kestral for a small EDC. The size and blade shape along with the blade steel and ti handles makes for a sweet package,IMO. However, it would be replacing my Spyderco Dragonfly SS and its' mundane day-to-days chores, so I was wondering if it's more than just a pretty face.
Thanks.

I have a bf 15 titan. Very happy with it, great cutter. Ti scrathes very easily though. Very slick opener, not too aggresive, I don't get any comments here in the Netherlands about my big knife!

Enjoy!!

I have a Titan Westcliff.

The Kestral is very small. You may want to hold one before buying because it is much smaller in person than it comes off in pictures.

The Titan series is very nice. Titanium handles, ZDP-189 blade... what is not to like?

They are *VERY* light. Lighter than any other knife I have ever held. So light they feel strange.

The blades look fantastic. The polish (or is it technically a satin finish?) is done better than any other blade finish I have seen. Ever. By a large margin. It is amazing how great they look and how bad they make other blades look. And the blade doesn't pick up fingerprints easily. You can use the knife and not have to wipe the blade down to keep it looking great.

The handles, however, pick up finger prints and hand oils very easily. You cannot use the knife without the handles looking used, so you do have to wipe them down to keep them looking good.

The Titans are not just pretty faces. In fact, I think they look a bit boring but are fantastic users.

Titanium is very tough, and ZDP-189 is no joke. They are users in every sense. They are so small that they are delicate (as any knife of the size would be), but they are not fragile. Just don't think of them as Striders.

I currently have a westcliff titan. I also had a kestrel but it was in 154cm. I carried the kestrel for a year and really enjoyed it. It is super light and you don't feel it on you. The problem with the kestrel is that I could not easily cut fruit with. The short blade made it a little difficult to cut thru an apple or orange. That is why I upgraded to the westcliff. I do recommend the kestrel and I still like it.
