Anyone chop with a CBT MOABolo or cerakote knife yet?

I saw Rob's video of him chopping with a ganzaa MOABolo a while back, anyone chop with the new CBT one? I wouldn't think the corrugations would catch or hinder (they didn't with my old CGFBM), but input would be nice :)

How about chopping with a cerakote blade? It looks smoother than the old coating, I'd assume less resistance as well?

Not yet ;)

I reckon the CBTs might actually assist in stopping it from binding in green wood.

Gimme a few hours and there will be pics, I'm on the plane back to Norway now, with cbt goodies in the bag.

I'm working on the cerakote side of things... should be on it's way here shortly.

I beat the crap out of some cerakoted blades when we were deciding to try it out. Stuff is amazing.

Thanks Garth. Are the cerakote blades going to be a thing from now on, or just for Blade '15? (I have a feeling you might tell me I will need to come to the shows to find out ;) ) The only cerakoted blade I got was a Patriot TB that serves a special place in my heart (I joined the Air Force as a tactical aircraft maintainer after 9/11) and I don't plan on using it. I would LOVE to find one of those blood pattern MMDs or a similar sized bloody chopper to test out.

Speaking of chopping, I told a friend of mine I chop wood with knives and she said, "You know they make axes, right?" haha I can't explain it to people, I guess it's just something about the counter-intuitiveness of using something that's not really supposed to be used for a certain task. Whatever it is, it's fun! Plus, you get more blade area on each strike from a knife than an axe, not a deeper bite but a bigger bite.

Dual killa zillas.... That's badass.

What's a guy with 2 KZs wear on the belt?

Let me know if you ever want to part with one of those users.

Oh yeah!!! Can't wait to see how sharkzilla looks after eating some wood!!!!

Looks even more like a shark now with the black top coat wearing off extremely fast and the white underneath wearing down to bare INFI way quicker than I expected. Cerakote is great on firearms and looks neat on a knife but it surprised me how easy it wears with chopping wood and a slight amount of baton/split work.
