Anyone cursed?

I have this ongoing curse starting with my first ever knife. That any knife I own, OWN I cut myself with, doesnt matter what it is or how often I look at it, they all seem to get me sometime. I have William Henry's that never see daylight until I clean them that have got me. Now I know most of it is probably my carelessness or just a mishap. But some seem to be like there after me, I just had My Razorback get me for the first time tonight, it had gotten out of its sheath, and when I reached in to my bag to check that it was there for opening day of muzzeloader tomorrow, it got me. Now I know everyone gets cut sometimes, but usually after a knife gets me once, it doesnt happen again.........this ever happen to any of you?

Consider yourself lucky. I've had multiple cuts from many different knives that I own... Of course it would probably help if I didn't have this uncontollable urge to play with razor sharp knives all the time. :D
 
I cut myself occasionally...have a nice little one above my thumb right now from playing with my spyderfly....but I'm always trying to learn new tricks with all my knives (including normal folders), so that's how it happens. Elizabeth, on the other hand, is the only person I know that's capable of frequently cutting herself closing her minigriptilian. Weird.

But you don't really own a knife until you've bled on it.
 
My F-I-L has a similar curse. Anytime he touches one of my knives, he cuts himself.

My own curse, I lose every knife I carry.

Not every knife I own, just certain ones repeatedly. Particularly my Microtech Dragonfly and my Spydie Spyderfly. Must be something about those bali's..... :confused: :foot: :D
 
I kinda Agree with you Artfully Martial. Its almost like when you bleed from it you bond with it wierd huh?
 
I got cut 2X this week!! One by BM 141 by its serr. edge. i never get cut by spyderco Manix/Chinook S30V so I thought 154MC (first time owning this steel) won't do S***. It prove me wrong. Today Ontario XM-1, I just never learn, i thought N690 won't do S*** it prove me bigger wrong!

Am I cursed? Who cares, I am just happy to know my these steel are sharp by puting myself to test. Having 2 band aid on my left hand, I am just glad i am right handed. :D
 
I was playing with my CS Night Force. I was thinking to myself, "I wonder if I can cut the callous off my thumb?" I did that and more. I bled for about 30 minutes. STUPID! I'll stick to shaving my arms bald from now on.
 
I have the curse that makes other people who ask to see my knife cut themselves :D (not a curse if you give it to the right people ;) ). I know of atleast 5 people who have asked to see my knives and ended up yelling "ouch!" and droping the knife...Other han that i have had my fair shair of cuts with my own knives and probably average about 1 cut per each of my knives but nothing really unusual.
