Was just wondering what my Paradigm Pro would look like with some custom scales, maybe something using stag. Anyone seen or have one with custom scales and would it be any easier or harder then on a non-assisted opening model? TIA

I sent pictures of the backside of the scales off of a Paradigim to Eric. The scales have some inleted places on the knife side that Eric didn't seem to want to try and duplicate.

Thanks for the reply. That's too bad but I guess understandable. I've always though the stock scales were a little slippery and after getting Chuck to autograph mine last weekend I thought a nice set of stag scales would really make it look as special as I feel it is and improve the grip at the same time.

I went back and looked at the e-mails again and Eric just said that the Paradigm scales looked a little "challanging". He actually didn't say he couldn't do it but we never progressed past that. I've no doubt that it can be done.

Hi All,

I know this thread is old-but I am looking for someone to do custom scales on my 337. Has anyone had any luck finding a craftsman up to the task?

I did end up with the one in this photo with sambar stag, but the craftsman that did it is no longer doing the work.

You might contact Jarheadz28 on this forum, he just did a Vantage and I think they looked worst on the inside that that does.... but I am suppose to be going back to my area of knowledge and zipping my lip on this stuff..............300

I am nearly out of knives to mangle. I think I will give my Paradigmn a try.
