Hi All,
I hate to do this but...I was recently (last two months) in need of some blanks cut and thought I would finally try this Aeroblades place that sems to have every knife making device under the Sun. Anyway, I have had Admiral cut stuff for me and also do it myself (when not trying to catch up on orders) and have had great success with Admiral in the past. However, they had a little difficuly involving their laser operator it seems and so I needd some blanks fast and tried Aeroblades in email first. No reply. Next week I tried twice, no reply. In all over 2 months I have tried maybe 12 times and nothing? I called and kept getting sent to the head fellas voice mail and with no reply afterwards. I then finally got him on the phone after I faxed a design to them and we discussed what was needed very briefly and still no quote on a measley 10 blanks. Then I called again, no answer at all. I called again and was transfered to voice mail again and then the following week the same. Still no answer???? Does anyone have any info as to what is up over there? Am I just a total pain in the a*s for calling approx. 5 times in over two months? I even left my last message just saying, sorry to be a pain but I would like to know asap if you can handle my small quantity or not" ," if not, I need to know asap so I can have someone else do it as I am backed up and need this done quickly as possible" I don't think I was being unreasonable, never used foul language or anything like that. Was trying to be as clear, nice and professional as possible but still no reply. Needless to say I have given up on them but it almost feels like a personal grudge or something???! I can't imagine they treat many knifemakers that way as that is the business they are in and would alienate the people who give them money and pay their salaries, no? I am left with a bad taste in my mouth for sure.. Thanks for letting me vent, Rich

PS. I have 12 emails unanswered by them in my sent messages. I was even told on Monday that Mr. Byron would call me after his meeting and still on Wednesday, no call. I calle dhim yesterday to check in and got the VM again.

I've hear a lot of the same type stuff from makers concerning this company. I even called them once to see about having a small quantity of items cut out for some mosaic I was working on.....got the same thing you did....no return calls, no email replies...nothing. I suspect that this outfit is run by someone who just has a lot of money and was looking for a tax shelter. Lord knows they advertise enough........but they sure aren't doing their company any favors with their customer service.

Take it as a warning, and run like the wind, away!

Why in the world would you even continue to try and do business with a company like that?:barf:

Okay, I see it more clearly now. I suspected as much. Thanks guys! Might you know anyone other than Admiral who does the same work? Laser and or water jet cutting. Thanks....Rich

I sent Aeroblades a final letter with the views I have come to have about them. Basically telling them to shape up and represent their company as they claim or just ship out and get out of the knifemaking business. What a waste of resources. Sheesh! I wash my hands of them and to anyone who would think about trying to do business with them I say NO! Don't do it, they do not practice good business will show you no respect. Watch out for these guys!

Man I dunno... I usually call someone once - maybe twice. If nothing, then I've expended all the energy on em I'm going to. What a bunch of jerks.

Admiral seems to have a bit of problems with their laser cutter, but they always get it done in a reasonable time.If you had given them the job it would be done by now.One problem is that "quickly" means in five days to us,and in five weeks to a big corporation.
